Did you know that approximately 200,000 Israeli families are at risk of malnutrition and prolonged hunger? It may also surprise you that 40% of Israel’s Holocaust survivors are living below the poverty line. For these poorer members of Israeli society, soup kitchens and food banks are a critical lifeline.
